The Eriophyinae Nalepa, 1898 is a subfamily of the family Eriophyidae. Members of this subfamily have vermiform body, female genital apodeme usually extending moderate distance forward, does not appear as a heavy transverse bar in ventral view, female coverflap variably sculptured, striae rarely occurring in two ranks, tibiae always distinct from tarsi, tibial seta usually present, prodorsal shield typically lacking a frontal lobe or with a slight projection over gnathosoma base, if frontal lobe present, then it is narrow, basally flexible, and combined with narrow annuli. During the survey on eriophyoid mites fauna of Sari county in Mazandaran province of Iran, in summer 2017, eriophyoid mites were recovered from plant samples using a modified washing method. The mites were slide mounted and morphological measurements were taken by means of a phase contrast microscope Olympus BX41. The identified species are as follows: Eriophyes sp. nov. from Parrotia persica C.A. Mey. (Hamamelidaceae), Aceria cichorii Petanovic, Boczek & Shi, 2002 from Cichorium intybus L. (Compositae), Aceria ficus (Cotte, 1920) from Ficus carica L. (Moraceae) and Aceria ulmosimilis Lotfollahi & Haddad, 2016 from Zelkovacar pinifolia (Pall.) K. Koch, 1849 (Ulmaceae)
