چکیده
European Grapevine Moth, Lobesia botrana Den. & Schif. (Lep.: Tortricidae) is the main pest of grapes in Iran. Several pesticides are applied in vineyard against the pest. Generally, a lot of researches are carried out to find out low-risk methods such as the biological control, pheromone traps etc. to replace high-risk chemical usage. In this study, influence of shape (delta, cylindrical and bucket traps), color (white, green, yellow and black) and height (1, 1.5 and 2 meters) of the pheromone traps were evaluated in attraction of grape vine moth in a randomized complete block design in Urmia (2016). The pheromone used in traps was RAK® 1+2 M and renewed each 10 days and entrapped moths were counted monthly. Data was analyzed by three way ANOVA and means were compared by Tukey test. The results showed that delta trap (45.22 ± 0.61 moths / trap / month) significantly attracted more moths in comparison with cylinderical (36.30 ± 0.61 moths / trap / month) and bucket (37.02± 0.61 moths / trap / month) traps, respectively. Traps installed at 1.5 meters height captured the highest number of moths (47.25 ± 0.61 moths / trap / month) compared with those at 1 m (36.44 ± 0.61 moths / trap / month) and 2 m (34.88 ± 0.61 moths / trap / month) heights, respectively. The effect of trap color in attraction of L. botrana showed that the yellow trap attracted more moths (45.77 ± 0.61 moth / trap / month) compared with that of white, green and black traps (36.03 ± 0.61, 33.14 ± 0.61 and 43.11 ± 0.61 moths / trap/ month, respectively). Therefore, yellow-delta pheromone traps installed at the height of 1.5 meter in grape vineyards can be used as an effective and safe method in conservation natural enemy, decreasing pesticide use and a way for controlling L. botrana in frame of integrated pest management.
