چکیده
The common pistachio psyllid, Agonoscena pistaciae, is one of the most damaging pests of pistachio in Iran. Their feeding causes reduced plant growth, falling of fruit buds and poor yield. A. Pistaciae has a high potential for resistance development to insecticides due to its short life cycle and high potential by of reproduction the investigations were performed on two forms of pistachio psyllid treated by residual contact vial with and without synergist (PBO) and biochemical assay with esterase. The bioassay results showed that PBO had a synergistic effect on A. Pistaciae. Biochemical studies have shown that resistance associated esterases in A. pistaciae are inhibited by the insecticide synergist piperonyl butoxide (PBO). Esterase inhibition by PBO did not occur immediately after dosing, but maximum inhibition in the summer and winter forms were done at 4 and 1 h after the synergism application and the lowest activity of asterese or highest inhibition were obtained in 0.5 mg L-1 of PBO
