چکیده
Cotton boll worm (Helicoverpa armegeria) is an important economic pest of cotton in Iran and the world. Due to application of different types of insecticides against this pest and the polyphagous behavior of the pest, it is probable that resistant biotypes of boll worm will evolve.Insecticide resistance, may cause excessive expenses and some negative consequences which can fail the pest control program, due to increasing pest damages and pesticide application rate, environmental pollution and exposing of non-target beneficial insects. For these reasons the investigation on the new insecticides with different mode of actions is very necessary. Therefore the efficiency of Lufenorun as the new insecticide and its comparison with some conventional insecticides were examined. Experiments were conducted with four replications in a RCBD in Darab station and Golestan in 2014. Sampling was done before and 3, 7, 14 and 21 days after spraying. The efficiency of the treatments calculated from Henderson-Tillton formula and the data were analyzed by SAS software. According to the results,in Golestan, lufenorun @ 1.5 l/1000, at 7 and 14 days after treatment, caused 81.75 and 86.75 percent mortality, respectively. It did not have any negative impact on green lacewing. In Fars, the results indicated significant differences between treatments. Lufenorun (@ 2/1000) caused 82.5 percent mortality followed by Lufenorun (@1.5/1000) and Thiodicarp (@ 1.5/1000) which caused 76.28 and 73.94 percent mortality, respectively. The indoxacarb and Carvin® (@1.5/1000) and tebofenzide (@2/1000) caused 65.18, 65.16 and 50.07 percent mortality, respectively.
