چکیده
Citrus thrips, Scirtothrips citri Moulton, is one of the most important pests of citrus nurseries in southern kerman. Young leaves attacked by this pest may curl and show gray streaks. Extensive feeding on young foliage can lead to shedding of leaves and tree limbs becoming distorted. On fruits, Scirtothrips citri causes scabby gray or brown scarring. The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of Spirotetramat (Movento®), Dichlorvos (Dedevap®), Profenofus (Kurakron®) and Proteus® (Thiacloprid+ Deltamethrin) on Scirtothrips citri population. For this purpose one experiment was conducted based on RCBD with 4 treatment, including spirotetramat (0/04%), dichlorvos (0/05%), profenofus (0/1%), Proteus® (0/075%) and water with 4 replication in field conditions in jiroft region. The experiment was conducted at the time of maximum pest population in April 2017. Pest population include nymph and adult on leaves were counted a day before and 1, 3, 7 and 14 days after treatment. Percent pesticides effectiveness was calculated using the Henderson-Tilton formula. Results showed that spirotetramat with 71.5, 66.4, 58.45 and 52.3% respectively in 1, 3, 7 and 14 days after application had the most effect in reducing of nymph population. After that Proteus® with 61.5, 56.7 and 50.4 % mortality in 1, 3 and 7 days after application had good effect on nymph population. Profenofus efficacy was 68.9, 65.5, 59.4 and 52.3% in 1, 3, 7 and 14 days after treatment respectively on adult citrus thrips. Dichlorvos effect was in the range of 50-57% and 48-52% respectively on nymph and adult. Durability of spirotetramat and profenofus were 21 days after application. Dichlorvos had less effective on pest control. Based on the results, (spirotetramat, Proteus®) and profenofus are recommended for control of nymph and adult respectively.
