چکیده
The Chrysididae is a large and diverse family of aculeate Hymenoptera consisting of over 3000 species in 87genera worldwide. Many species are characterized by colors with metallic glares, green, blue, copper, gold, or a combination of these colors. They are Parasitoid or cleptoparasite of other Hymenoptera, Phasmatodea and Lepidoptera. They have the greatest diversity in the Palearctic region. Chrysidid fauna of Iran still is not investigated in details and no data is available for some parts of the country especially southeast Iran. The present study was performed in order to investigate the chrysidid fauna of Kerman province, southeast Iran. Sampling was carried out in mountainous sites of central and northern parts of Kerman province: Kouhbanan, Sirch, Bardsir, Bidkhan, Negar, Baft, Rabor, Koohpayeh, Lalehzar, Urzuiyeh, Ravar, Mahan, Bahramjerd, Rayen and Qal-eh-Askar during 2015 and 2016. The specimens were captured using Malaise traps and sweep net. The specimens were identified based on morphological characters using different taxonomic keys and were confirmed by forth author. A total of 24 species in 10 genera belonging to Chrysidinae and Elampinae were determined. Among them three species and one subspecies which are marked with an asterisk (*) are new records for Iran. The specimens are deposited in the insect collection of Zoological Museum of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran (ZMSBUK), collection of Graduate University of Advanced Technology and insect collection of Pisa University.
