چکیده
Date palm is an economically important crop in the several countries. Recently, 112 species of mites and insects were listed worldwide associated with date palm that 22out of them attack stored dates. Information and knowledge regarding susceptibility of date palm to pests is important in the integrated pest management programs. This study was provided based on the research results of the date palm pests host prefers studies from 1920 to 2016. The results of this study showed that Hasavi, Liloei and Mashtom cultivars were resistant to the lesser date moth (Batrachedra amydraula), Khasab, Hamravi, Hasavi, Ashagh, Jozi and Gantar were resistant to date palm spider mite (Oligonuchus afrasiaticus) ,Temer and Saidi were resistant to the greater date moth (Arnepsis sabella), Mershinf, Wad and Velagi were resistant to date palm scale (Palmaspis phoenicis) , Zahedi and Deiri were resistant to Ephestia spp., Raim was resistant to Sawtoothed beetle (Oryzaephilus surinaemensis), Deiri was resistant to fruit beetles (Carpophilus spp.) and Hadal, Fersi, Gantar, Sayer, Khazravi, Jahromi and Raim were resistance to date palm termite (Miccrocerotermes diversus). Different nutrition qualities and physical properties of the fruit of each date palm cultivars would affect the pest fitness. Therefore, certain date palm cultivars could hold some promise in an IPM program.
